Top concrete repair projects named in Awards 2010

Winners of ACRA Awards for excellence in concrete repair were announced at a presentation event at Sydney's Sebel Townhouse Pier One on October 28.
    Along with those presented with Merit Awards, the winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges, who said that.the entries this year were "...of the high level of professionalism demonstrated by ACRA members, with consultants and contractors working together to ensure the optimal result for the client."
    The winners in order of category presentations were (and see also link to images of Awards 2010):

• Buildcorp Asset Solutions for Innovation & Design in Concrete Repair & Protection
• Water Infrastructure Group for Project up to $500,000
• Savcor ART for Project $1,000,000 to $2,000,000
• Metrocorp Technologies for Project $2,000,000 and over
• Metrocorp Techbologies for Long-term Performance
• Metrocorp Technologies for Repair Industry Excellence Award

    Merit awards went to:

• Hitech Remedial & Construction for Project up to $500,000
• Preservation Technologies for Project $1,000,000 to $2,000,000
• Water Infrastructure Group for Project $2,000,000 and over

    The independent judging panel comprised David Ferguson of Strata Plus and president of the Institute of Strata Title Management, Ian Godson of Ian Godson & Associates and David Mahaffey of Mahaffey Associates.
   According to the judges: "ACRA should be congratulated for encouraging its members to showcase such work, not just for the pats on the back the winners deserve, but also so that owners of built assets can have benchmarks against which to judge any who would profess the ability to undertake for them concrete repair at its most challenging."
