ACRA/ACA courses

Dates set for courses on corrosion and protection of concrete

Application forms have been issued for the two-day course on corrosion and protection of reinforced concrete developed and staged by ACA and ACRA. The dates set for 2008 are:

• Sydney 26-27 February
• Adelaide 21-22 May
• Melbourne 12-13 August
• Sydney 05-06 November

The course will provide a solid foundation of knowledge about the corrosion of both reinforcement and concrete, so that those working in this field can reach more effective solutions in prevention and remediation.

Urged to attend are asset managers, port engineers, bridge maintenance managers, building managers, heritage structure engineers, plant engineers, consulting engineers, architects, specialist contractors, construction material suppliers, asset condition inspectors and overseers.

The GST-inclusive course fee is AUD1034.00 for none-members and AUD869.00 for members. There are discounts for early payment. The fee includes course manual, certificate, light lunch and refreshments.
